Our school thinks that your child is of great importance and we believe that to be able to learn they need to be happy, confident, understand themselves, understand their feelings and know how to get on with each other and make friends. To help all our children with this we will be working in school on special activities that develop these skills. These activities are part of a new initiative that all schools in Wirral are involved with. The programme is called Social, Emotional aspects of learning (SEAL).
Each half term we will be looking at a particular theme. The theme will start with an assembly and followed up in the classroom.
SEAL themes that your child will participate in during the school year.
SEAL has 7 themes-
