As a school we have been very interested in developing international links, and during the past few years we have been successful in securing German and Italian Language assistants from a British Council led Initiative. This has created excellent opportunities for cultural exchange within our local community, and provided our children and parents with language competence and intercultural understanding.
Our Foreign Language Assistants…

2M took part in a language activities morning at Acre Lane with Seta our German assistant.
2004 – 2005 Italian Language Assistant
Our Italian Language Assistant organised an Italian Evening at our school before she left to celebrate the achievements of the after school children and adults club.
In the future we hope to establish international links with a partner school which will develop this opportunity further- watch this space!
