Year 2 Topic: The Great Fire Of London

  • History on the Net Information about the fire in a factual diary account, simple information and offers some activities such as cross words and word searches.
  • Oxfordshire LEA Features link to ready made PowerPoint presentation about the Great Fire - not that exciting, but does pose 3 questions about the spread of the fire for the children to focus on whilst looking at the images.
  • BBC Great fun for children to independently find information about Samuel Pepys contains clear images and simple text.  Nice activity enabling children to print their name out in the code used to write the diaries definitely recommend a look....
