Our school seeks to provide the child with a happy, stable, stimulating environment in which the total programme is worthwhile, imaginative, interesting, demanding, relevant and includes much first hand experience.
The aims of the school are: -
* To educate each child according to his or her aptitudes and abilities, physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally and spiritually and to encourage each child to reach his or her potential. * To be able to communicate for many purposes by speech, reading, writing and numeracy. * To develop an enquiring mind and to be able to solve problems logically. * To enjoy and have an appreciation of the arts. * To develop a sense of caring for each other and for the environment. * To acquire moral values and have respect and tolerance for other races, religions and ways of life. * To appreciate the achievement of others.
The school aims to build a close partnership with all parents and together build upon the work parents have done in educating their children before they arrive at school.
We aim to know each child as an individual with their own personal identity and needs ensuring that children are socially and emotionally secure in the school environment and therefore able to optimise all educational opportunities on offer.
