Dinner Money

This must be paid weekly every Monday morning. The cost of a school meal is £2.00 per day and should be sent into school in an envelope with the child’s name and class clearly marked on the front.

The meals are cooked in the school’s kitchen and a balanced diet with emphasis on healthy eating is promoted. Sample menus can be obtained from school.

Packed lunches

All packed lunches must be in a suitable lunch box with the child’s name and class on the lid. Boxed drinks may be brought in. Glass bottles are not suitable.

Reasonable notice is required to change from cooked meals or packed lunch.

Fruit Programme

All children are provided with a free piece of fruit daily.

Non-flouride milk

... is availabe to each child at morning break. Milk money is 15p per day and collected at the beginning of each new term. Cheques for payment of milk should be made payable to ‘Metropolitan Borough of Wirral’.

Water

... is freely available to all children from water fountains sited around the school building both indoors and outdoors. In addition pupils may bring water only in a clear plastic bottle labelled with their name.
