Medical Information – if a child develops a serious or on going medical problem, parents should inform the school as soon as possible.
Pupils on Medication – Medication will be administered where a definite need has been prescribed. Parents are required to fill in a form giving details of complaint and dosage.
Illness in School – In cases where we suspect illness, parents are contacted by telephone.
Telephone Numbers- In case of emergency, a home, plus an alternative number, must be provided.
Absences. In all cases of absence, parents are asked to contact school on the morning of the first day of absence. A letter to the class teacher on the child’s return to school is required following the first call. In cases of notifiable diseases or long absences, please inform the schoolas soon as possible.
As a precaution for expectant mothers working in a voluntary capacity in the school, letters are sent reporting any cases of German Measles.
