All parents are invited in after school during October to discuss the ‘settling in period’ of their children into their new classes. Formal interviews take place during Open Evening/Afternoons in the Spring term. In July parents receive end of year reports on the children’s progress and are given the opportunity to view work and for discussion with the teacher.
Informal Interviews
If parents wish to discuss their child’s progress with the class teacher, it is necessary only for a note requesting such an interview to be sent to the teacher, who will suggest a suitable time for the appointment (usually immediately after school hours). Special problems, including medical matters, may be discussed with the Headteacher, preferably by appointment.
